Lead Linguist and Knowledge Manager
Obsessed with Australia from the age of 12, Michela finally managed to go Down Under in 2016 just to meet the happiest animal in the world on Rottnest Island.
After a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation from the University of Bologna she started roaming around Italy, France and UK to study, work in different industries and roles and get closer to her beloved languages and cultures. She completed her MA in Technical Translation at the University of Genova and started her career as in-house Translator and Proof-reader in Genova back in 2009.
But London was calling and she had to answer. So she packed for rainy weather to make her way through '90s pub music, park life and start-up culture. After working as Localisation Specialist in London for two major companies in the travel tech and hospitality space, she decided to take on a new challenge with Creative Words where she is now spreading loads of localisation love as Lead Linguist and Knowledge Manager.
While she will never leave home without a proper breakfast, even at 5 a.m., she will always enjoy chatting about her far too many favourite TV series, including Friends, Ally McBeal and La Casa de Papel, just to name a few.
